Rev3 Rocked in Knox!

When you were a kid, did you ever have to miss out on a birthday party that ALL of your friends went to? That was how I felt this weekend about the Rev3 race in Knoxville. When I was planning the season, I had registered for the Columbia tri before being selected for Team Trakkers. As a result, I decided to hold off on Knoxville, volunteer at the Rev3 Quassy race, and compete at Cedar Point. Once I got to know my teammates (via blogs, Facebook, Twitter, emails, and one awesome ride on Skyline Drive), I realized I would be missing a great time in Knoxville.

Rev3 and Team Trakkers did not disappoint. The team had some awesome bonding in Knoxville, and the city and the Rev3 team put on a great event. The focus of Rev3 is a family-friendly event. They had lots of activities for kids to keep entertained....not to mention awesome swag and an incredible field of pros.

I am so pumped after hearing about the experiences my teammates had that I am racing the Olympic at Rev3 Quassy (as long as my SI joint cooperates).

  1. All I'm going to say is that I volunteered to hijack you... Either way, I'm glad I'll see you in CT and OH.

Oh, and I thought about trying to swing by your neck of the woods on my way back from TN to say "hi", but it would have been at around 3am, so it didn't work out as planned.
